Bikes we have on-site are often works in progress. Brand-new bikes can be brought in for the customer on short notice. Our aim is to stay stocked with affordable, relevant bicycles and accessories that serve our location / customer needs.

Whilst maintaining comfort & functionality, often our commuter bicycles are given a look that is unattractive to bike thieves.

We’re a community-based not-for-profit operation and our staff are ably assisted by enthusiastic volunteers. Our aim is to work alongside you to develop your skills and knowledge, so you can freely enjoy the benefits of cycling.


We don’t offer a certified mechanical repair service where you can drop your bike off to be fixed but we can point you in the right direction if this is a service you require.

Bring it in for advice and support about maintenance and basic repairs. We have parts available to purchase, including replacement cables, tyre tubes, brake pads and chains.

We have a range of serviced low-cost used bikes for sale, or can provide advice about where else you could find a bike to suit your needs. We can also offer advice and support if you haven’t ridden a bike in a while (or ever).

I have a background in creative arts industry, studied BFA at Auckland uni and worked in the realms of TV props, theatre and public spaces. All the while in the background I have also worked in bike shops, and for friends, rescuing, repairing, customizing, upgrading, personalizing and recycling/rehoming bikes.

6 years ago I moved to Mt Albert and started using my garage as a woodcraft shop, signwriting studio and bike repair space. it quickly evolved into a bicycle – dedicated workshop space operating full-time.

While I can work on most types of bicycle and ebike, I would say my main customer base and strength is service and repair of commuter/ transport bikes, of central/west auckland, and those with vintage/retro bike projects.
