Roderick Steel: It's been a little while since I've been through here. It's usually a nice circuit for a jog, but right now the bridge is closed, however the plans for the new one look promising. There are several playgrounds, a skate park and great views of the lagoon, which is used for boating in good weather.Not suitable for swimming, though.
Samuel Case: Really nice place to come for a walk, the bridge is closed at the moment and is scheduled to reopen in 2025, unfortunately. There several playgrounds on the edge of the basin and a leisure centre as well. On one Sunday a month a model railway also runs next to the playground by the Waipuna Lodge.
Pranesh Chand: This fun family walk around the Panmure Basin takes only 30 minutes and has three playgrounds along the way. The sealed loop 3.2 kilometre walkway is pram-friendly and great for kids on bikes or scooters. The Panmure Basin, also sometimes known as the Panmure Lagoon, is a tidal estuary within a volcanic crater or maar in New Zealand’s Auckland volcanic field. It is located to the south of Panmure town centre.
Nita Aire: It's a lovely spot for walks, run, bike ride, or to take the kids. Long 3KM track around the lake... Beautiful view and calm waters gives a joyous and pleasant feeling.
Dean Purchase: Great place to walk around basin. It is a shame but necessary the walkway bridge is closed for a new bridge. Opening 2025.
W F: Will change review to 5 stars when the bridge is back up and to up can do a full circle around the basin again

Umaya Ekanayake: Fyi the bridge is closed til 2025. Rest of the walkway is fine.
Niko Mairi: Beautiful spot to go strolling or jogging around. It has plenty of bench seating positioned all around the Basin and the odd picnic table as well. There is also carparking found at different access ways around the Basin.
Jaerus I. Jamandron: Nice and good
Bruser NZ: Pleasant location to walk around the lake and enjoy Peterson Park that has a playground for the kids, miniature railway and radio controlled boats. A great outing for the kids on the weekend.
