Today, we celebrated a wedding anniversary with a casual lunch at The Occidental in Vulcan Lane. A really good range of Belgian beers on tap including my favourite, Hoegaarden. We shared a dozen beer battered oysters with salad and fries.

Friendly, relaxed service. Fresh food and great drinks menu in funky Vulcan Lane. The Affogato dessert was one of the best I’ve had. Recommended – and about 30% less than we would have spent for an identical ‘fine dining’ option on the waterfront.
