You can train with us in our short and intensive courses designed to get you massaging quickly and effectively. Our courses do not burden you with written exams and irrelevant material. Instead, teachers demonstrate techniques which students practice while the instructor gives individual feedback.

One of the unique elements of Raynor massage is its holistic philosophy. We see the body as an integrated whole, understanding that problem-causing tension can manifest anywhere, even where symptoms are not immediately apparent. Our students learn to track and then remove ‘bands’ of tension that run through the body.

Traditional Eastern understandings of the body have always recognized how emotional tension can affect the physical body. Our Professional Raynor Massage Certificate Course includes the online course plus 18 hours of hands on practice supervised by one of our teachers or the school principal Naturopath Brandon Raynor. Our Combined Certificates Course is a 7 day course that has a lot of practical content and is a must for anyone serious about learning Raynor Naturopathic massage.

Brandon’s style of massage is a combination of therapeutic massage, shiatsu, Thai massage, Chinese massage, Ayurvedic massage, joint adjustments and deep tissue massage. He has created many new massage techniques and he has discovered how muscular tension exists in the human body as bands of tension. His manner of teaching is down to earth and straight to the point. Enter the room and let us take your coat and bag for you, while you sit down on our upholstered footstool to take off your shoes and stow them away on the shelf below.

Walk over to our recliner, hop on and get comfortable. We'll ask you a few questions about how you've been, before wrapping your feet in warm, steamed towels. Now the magic begins.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths as we move to the other end of the recliner to start your treatment with some auricular therapy, a soothing ear massage that activates an astonishing 90 reflex points.

As you start to drift away, we'll sneak back towards your feet, unwrapping the towels and getting started with your reflexology treatment. An all natural balm will be applied to your feet and lower legs, and a short sequence of strokes and other movements will help warm the balm and unwind tight muscles. Gentle Western reflexology techniques are used over your feet and ankles, quite literally soothing your soles and helping to support your body's rest and digest responses.

The soft vibrations of a Tibetan singing bowl will waken you from your treatment. Slowly open your eyes and let us know how you're feeling. We'll then help you float out of our room to our reception area, where you can have some water or tea and get ready to face the world again.

In 2014 I had my very first reflexology treatment. I floated away from that session feeling relaxed and content and remember thinking what a nice thing it was that my reflexologist was doing for people.

My name is Leanne Liddle and I offer Deep Tissue and Therapeutic Massage and other therapies from my home clinic in Waterfall, Hillcrest in the Upper Highway area, (close to Kloof, Gillitts and Winston Park). I am available on weekdays from 8.30am to 6.30pm. Saturdays I'm available from 9am to 12.30pm.


Complementary Therapies, work alongside conventional therapies and are not intended to replace these but can greatly assist in your healing and recovery. The most beneficial treatments that I offer in the Upper Highway area are: Deep Tissue Massage; Remedial (sports) Therapeutic and Relaxation Massage; Reflexology and Indian Head Massage Therapy. If you are experiencing conditions such as muscular aches and pains; old injuries and postural problems then I would suggest a Deep Tissue Massage. Deep Tissue Massage Therapy really gets deep into the muscles and can have astounding results. It is so much more than just working "hard"! If you're a sports person or even just a weekend runner perhaps a combination of deep tissue and sports massage would suit you better!

An experienced therapist will work with the tissue not just on the tissue, feeling for areas of tension and working on these areas with a controlled depth so very little pain or discomfort is experienced. After a couple of minutes the body responds by relaxing which enables the therapist to work even deeper without causing any pain or discomfort. Many techniques are used and each session is tailored to suit the clients needs with the intention of releasing tension, reducing pain and improving range of motion.

If you need some deep relaxation and also want something deeper than a relaxation massage, then I would suggest a Therapeutic Massage, which can also get deep into the muscles but follows more of a routine which is highly relaxing promoting a sense of wellbeing as well as releasing aches and pains. Therapeutic Massage is usually done over the entire body or a Back, Shoulder and Neck, whereas Deep Tissue often targets problem areas and sometimes includes some remedial techniques to further assist the recovery of muscles.

In addition to the above-mentioned therapies, I also offer Indian Head Massage and Reflexology. Both of these are highly relaxing and can be combined with any treatment to have the ultimate in relaxation!
