4worldlovers: Smudge and Co NZ was cretated in 2020 in my bedroom, with wire wrapped jewellery + crystal kits. I needed an outlet for my creativity and this seemed like the perfect idea.

Over time we slowly introduced crystals as we noticed that we always had crystals that we ordered for making jewellery that never worked. Not long after that we started candles because in my household we burn alot of candles!

When we lauched we were 'Luna and Sol NZ' the name was to represent myself and my cat Luna. I started this buiness with her, she meant the world to me as i had recetly suffered a severe mental breakdown, it was just me and her throughout the process. We sadly lost her... and keeping Luna and Sol NZ alive now meant the world.

In 2021 we were contacted by another crystal brand here in NZ saying that we breeched their trademark. I did everything i could to save the name, but at the end of the day they wouldn't allow us to co-exist. So the Birth of Smudge and Co NZ in 2021.

Around this time i was fostering some kittens and one female tabby stuck out. She was EXACTLY like luna... Smudge. It was like Luna knew i needed her and as she physically couldn't be there she did everything she could to ensure i met smudge.
