Mikayla Dixon: We used Madita at Mood for our kitchen renovation and I can honestly say that she was incredible, our plans changed drastically more than once when we decided to remove walls and change up design. She guided us through the process and helped us come up with a cohesive and elegant space, she was able to use their CAD system to show us changes realtime so we could see different material choices. Along with cabinetry selection they had the island legs stained in a custom colour to match the cabinetry which resulted in a beautiful finish. Their installer Hanson is second to none, his attention to detail and perfection is outstanding, we had other trades comment on how great his workmanship is. Our neighbours had a kitchen go in at the same time and our experiences were worlds apart. Communication was fantastic. They designed our kitchen and also built in our TV area and a place for our record player. If I ever do another kitchen I will 100% be using Mood. Madita is a saint for dealing with all the changes and questions I had, nothing was too much trouble.
Simon Ellery: We approached Mood with a request for a custom desk, and probably one of their more unusual requests - a credenza which doubles as an entertainment unit and rabbit hutch! We dealt with Maddy who provided us with outstanding customer service, clear communication and she even offered up ideas to elevate our furniture design. She guided us through the entire process from providing initial design plans, right though to coordinating delivery. We were so impressed with the customer service from Maddy and the beautiful craftsmanship of the furniture that we also purchased their bed base with draws, which has been the perfect solution to store clothes in a small bedroom. No doubt we'll be back to order furniture down the track. Mood is a game changer when it comes to bespoke custom furniture in the NZ market. No other company comes close. I'm sure our rabbits will agree once they see their new home too 🐰✨
Isla Amin: I worked with Mood to design, build and install my new kitchen and couldn't be happier. The design process was fun and engaging, the manufacturing and delivery process was clear and the installation was done perfectly. My designer listened to my ideas and was happy to work within my budget. I never felt embarrassed saying I could afford a certain material and she always helped me to find alternatives.

Maddy was very helpful and patient with all the changes & requests we made in order to get the right piece for us. They were able to provide a picture of what our custom furniture would look like. There is a 10 week wait period but it was worth the wait. Highly recommended!

Initially I was nervous buying something unseen from their online store, but I have been blown away by the quality of the products and workmanship. The team at Mood are very helpful and sent me closer photos of the chairs with the table which they recommended was a good match for my home. Thoroughly recommend Mood and it will forever be my first port of call when looking for new pieces for my home.
