Shane Cox: The only Auckland fish and chip shop that actually knows what proper chips are. You will pay more for the chips here than other places, but the higher price is worthwhile for the far superior quality than other fish and chip shops that only sell rubbish frozen chips. The fish is great as is the battered sausage. Only recommendation is that the curry sauce could be nicer.

Jessica Wu: I had to try their crayfish roll when it was available. It was beautifully fried, well presented and a good balance in the brioche roll. Good flavors, juicy cray, soft roll. A pity it was only for a limited time. Fries good as usual, best around.

Jason Oneal: Love this place. Ate here several times while on trip.Service was fantastic. Very friendly and very helpful.Great selection of fish. Fresh oil. Perfect cook.Talked to several locals that come here often.Can't go wrong here, we liked everything we tried.You need to stop by...then walk a couple minutes to the rose park and have a picnic.
hana kim: I visited here for the first time today. Food was really fresh and tasty! This is the best fish and chips shop ever. A Kiwi cashier is so kind and patient. Before I ordered, I saw the menu on the google and my estimated price was roughly $25 but it came to higher than I thought. So I asked her to count once more. It turns out I saw the menu posted 3 years ago 😅🤦🏻♀️I would visit here again. !!
Jack Sorrow: I visited Catch A Fish Takeaway in New Zealand and I was pleasantly surprised by their quality and service. The fish was fresh and crispy, the chips were hot and fluffy, and the sauces were tangy and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. The only reason I'm not giving them a 5-star review is because the place doesn't have many options, with almost no atmosphere, and no seating places near the area, with the nearest at the rose gardens. But overall, I had a great experience, and I would recommend Catch a Fish Takeaway to anyone looking for a satisfying seafood meal.
