Lacy James: This is a FANTASTIC, beautifully done little independent bookstore. I could've spent hours here, but we popped in 30 minutes before they closed. They carefully choose their stock, can offer on-the-spot personal recommendations, and handwrite reviews on index cards for staff favourites. Their prices are pretty comparable to big chains, too. I'd happily shop here for the rest of my life.
Skylah Frazer: Cute little book store. Definitely was a favourite to be recommended going to as they had a few books based on movies I didn’t even KNOW were turned into books! Totally scored there. They also had books I’d been looking for elsewhere which would’ve led to me ordering online since they weren’t anywhere in the country physically, another great find! Glad I signed up to be a member also

Bennett McElwee: A small but perfectly formed bookshop. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great table of recommended new releases - and not just the latest blockbusters. Cute children's room in the back. And a cat.
Kin Cheung: An awesome independent bookstore in Mount Eden village. You can tell the owners and those that work there are book lovers. They dedicate the time to publish their own magazine, recommending books they love. It’s a must visit if you live in Auckland, you will fall in love with this place.
Glenda Jones: Absolutely love this shop, always so helpful and friendly. Even now that I have moved to the South Island there is no problem to send me books and to find special books for me.Thanks heaps, real Stars in themselves!
Molly Riccardi: Wow!!! I haven’t had the pleasure of shopping in person here as I live in the U.S., but this amazing shop went above in beyond with helping me to curate a book selection for my 8 year old niece, and even gift wrapped it and delivered it to her. How I love independent bookstores, especially this gem. What a treasure this store is and I can’t wait to visit on my next trip to Auckland.

Clark Valmont: One of my favourite bookstores in the world, it's quaint and comforting environment is reminiscent of a time lost, when people truly appreciated books and would hunt through shelves to find what they were looking for. If you want a great day out, get a coffee and then after peruse the shelves and read over the books and find something a little special in Bookmark.
S Nicoll: Wandered past this shop by chance on our way to the naval museum and went in for a nosey. It would be worth making the trip out to Devonport just to go here. A really marvellous little shop, you really can find something of interest for everyone. A fantastic collection of books old and new. Staff were lovely, we walked away with a couple of beautiful books and some vintage postcards.
June Lee: Great place to buy old rare booksIt’s a so antique-looking bookstore that could be seen in the romantic movieI loved it although I didn’t buy any book. I tried to look for a book very hard. And they are not cheap even though they are second hand books and pretty well preserved. Anyone who loves the movie “Notting hill “ starring Hugh grant and Julia Robert, they will like this lovely bookstore.
Sam: Such a brilliant store. Excellent selection, incredibly helpful staff. They have a comprehensive maritime section, possibly because of Devonport's proximity to the water or navy base. Either way I've been looking for a book in Australia about the Killer Whales in Eden for several years and where should I find it but a little store in Devonport.
Aston Sadgrove: Great store, so many great books, and great deals. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere is great.

Sam: Auckland Icon. Please never change. Great staff, great selection. I'm almost worried when I go into a 2nd hand bookstore and the owner isn't reading. I know they have so much to do but I want to find them nose deep in a book.The owner clearly works hard curating her collection, there's always interesting titles in the window and plenty of hidden gems on the shelves.
Hayden So: Probably the greatest range of 2nd hand books in Auckland. It's easy to get lost and find yourself looking through this treasure trove of books. Highly personable staff who always do what they can to help.
