St Heliers Beach: what do users think?

MS: Nice beach. We played hunting Easter eggs @ here, today. Awesome 🤩

Lynn Williams: Very relaxing interesting beach to spend time

Addie Lane: St. Heliers Beach is my husband’s favourite beach in Auckland. We walked along the footpath from Kohimarama Beach to St. Heliers Beach early this morning. There were quite a number of people running, jogging, walking and cycling along the footpath and cycling path. Still, we could enjoy our romantic and fantastic walk along the beach. Many cosy cafes are on the opposite side of the beach and footpath and we would love to pop in sometime next week for a lovely breakfast and coffee. We highly recommend you to visit there if you live in St. Heliers or happen to drive past there.

María Eugenia Fuentes: Lovely spot

Neeraj Jain: Good experience. Difficult to get car parking slot.

Timba Le: Nice and quieter than Mission Bay beach but not as many restaurants around than MB.

Ximena A: Lovely.Definitely prefer this beach than mission bay, less busy, cleaner and nice view.

Afakasigirl275: Date nite, was super quiet for a late Thursday nite. But never the less. View 5/5 company 5/5 side bench dinner. 5/5

darron welch: Great beach . A lovely bay. Lots of seats to enjoy the view. I love the end of it. There's a children's play park and it's great at low tide watching young families paddling in the sea. There are toilet facilities here and endless cafe's to get a pie , a cake , coffee. It's a great place.

Zac Parish: My local beach. Love it

Ker'Eau'Zen GaZoil: Very pretty beach! To do

Brian.: Nice beach

Isaac Snowling: My happy place!!!What an amazing beach and my dog loves it too

Arif Khan: Fab beach worth hike in the morning time

Susan Vujcich: Stunning Beautiful views. Clean beach.Looking for a good work out on your return to the top. It will be just that.

Ram Thorupunoori: Beautiful view of whites Beach and tough place for walking or hiking.

Keshav Pandey: One of the Best among ... 👍👍👍

Phil: Access from North Piha is an easy track, good for kids and the likes. If you want the best views, the track from Anawhata Rd is downhill, a little narrow at points and will make you sweat on the way back, but its worth it.

Steven: and get amazing coastal views on your way to the isolated Whites Beach. The best way to access is via a combination of the Marawhara trail

Mark Pitts: , turn left on Anawhata road, then drive about 20 minutes to the Rose trail parking area. The walk down to Whites Beach will be all downhill and take about 30 minutes. It’s a little longer and more difficult to do the steep walk back up, but worth it!

M: N/A

FANIS Alsubait: The beach has more the one access to enter also there are a long way down for the place you park your car usually is empty there and no that much visitors it might be the time you be there.

Shivy Chase: About an hour loop. Good views. Secluded beach. No car access

Kohimarama Beach: what do users think?

Brijesh Dave: What to say? The experience is always encouraging. Feel connected with nature. The surrounding areas are good. People are also friendly.

D P: Best swimming beach in Eastern Bays, been using it for years now, summer swim series is held here on Thursdays, high tide club meet here too. Called in here today Monday 19 Feb 2024 after a hike in Le Roy's Bush with my m8 Lane, water was very warm n refreshing & sun was 🔥😎🤩😍

R B: Absolutely gorgeous place to wake up and enjoy the sunrise 🌅 so many nice people

Addie Lane: Kohimarama Beach is my favourite beach in Auckland. It’s between Mission Bay and St. Heliers Bay.Along the footpath, I could feel the lovely breeze and hear the waves crashing the rocks near the beach. There were quite a number of people running, jogging, walking and cycling on the footpath and cycling path, but I could still enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Kohimarama Beach.Several lovely cafes are on the opposite side of the beach and footpath. I would love to visit them sometime next week.I highly recommend you to walk along the beach if you live in Kohimarama or happen to drive past there.

María Eugenia Fuentes: Very clean spot

Valary Lu: Just relax and watch it

bin wang: 🤠

Marco Kruger: Just around the bend of mission bay and quieter with a good gelato place

Augusto Servente: very nice plays

Sumalya Bose: Nice beach to spend the day if mission bay is crowded. Doesn't have much shade for a sunny day.

Camellia Dewer: Summer midday, the sand will burn your feet. Bring plenty of sunscreen, hat, and jandles. There are plenty of trees along the sidewalk for picnics. Good views and nice vibes. There is a red brick bathroom in the middle of the beach strip. You might have to park in some of the streets as the parking along the beachside gets clogged up fast. There are ice cream shops and a few restaurants nearby.

Ker'Eau'Zen GaZoil: Very pretty beach, pleasant and quite quiet, not too much traffic noise.

Whatipu Beach: what do users think?

Bharath chandrA: A beautiful black sand beach on western side of Auckland. It is very pleasant and secluded beach. The road to this beach is unsealed and will take a bit of time to reach there.

Becca Hessell: Very Spiritual place, with a big history, Most Surreal place to go,Magnetic Black sand, changing Scenery, very mystical, long walks, Amazing caves, You can camp here for a very little price, there is also a lodge if you feel like staying, price can be a little costly but worth the adventure,Beach is very Beautiful, but beware and be careful of your surroundings as it can change.

Ni95 STn: Beautiful😍LoveNZ

M: The Whatipū area is a scientific reserve within the Waitākere Ranges. It is owned by the Department of Conservation and managed by Auckland Council on their behalf. It is a spectacular area of coastal dunes and wetlands. Please take care when driving along Whatipu Road as it is narrow in places.

Nikita Gavrilitchenko: Black sand beach ❤️! Quiet, immense and with magnificent sunsets! Watch out for sandflies, come out covered!

Ashley Corfield: . It got very windy especially on the left side between the 2 mountains on the beach. Caves are unfortunately closed.

K Series: Absolutely stunning and breathtaking views

aquairis: Very pretty beach! Stunning view

STEPHANE ROMEI: Another unique beach of Auckland west coast. One of the most beautiful one.You find amazing landscape with mountains as the background, long black sand beaches, rocks, fishers, birds. We generally starts with a ½ day hike in the regional park before we come to this beach end of the day with outstanding lights.

Geoffrey Schultz: Spent the whole day here. Very much off the main path

Clément FOURNEY: Nice view from the sky 😉

Danie Poolman: We spent one day here at this secluded beach. The views and the ever changing waterways are mesmerizing. As the waves come in, they form waterways which in some cases flow over a sandbank and in other cases retreat to the sea. There are so many paths for hiking in the area and for the fit there are some great climbing challenges. The road to get here is winding and at places extremely narrow. The reward however is stunning. Also note that there are campsites. It is easy to spend a couple of days here to explore!

Andrew Blackler: Remote, lonley and intimidating...

Andrew F: Great spot, also a great campground at the tunnel campsite

Florent Jeannot: Very nice beach, with a pizza seller not far away.

Addie Lane: Waiheke Island is always our favourite place to visit when we are free.Oneora Beach is one of the best beaches on Waiheke Island. On 9/11/2023, I enjoyed my relaxing walk from Ocean View Road to Oneora Beach. There were not many people there so I could take a stroll peacefully and gracefully.I highly recommend you to visit Oneora Beach if you live on Waiheke Island or just on a day trip to Waiheke Island.

Marco Gazzoni: Very nice

Indira Purkoti: Very nice and cosy environment with exotic scenery

Ian & Tracey Weston: It's great but sometimes of the year to many boats park up here because of how close it is to all the restaurants and bars

Letha Rangard: Amazing views. Great place to relax, catch some sun, and go for a swim.

Jordan Hollyman: Captivating at Oneroa tonight, even with a rubbish bin in the view. Love this beach, it's safe and trees provide shade on a sunny day.

irene cullen: Really nice beach just a shame there's so many boats ruining the view 4 stars

Sebastian Eika: Delightfull

Cecilia Tuiomanufili: A beautiful secluded bay with a picturesque beach of fine sands. A great place to spend the day for a picnic.
